#ChildrenAtTheHeart

National Family Mediation is one of over 140 organisations that have signed a joint statement calling on the government to put children at the heart of the nation’s post-Covid 19 recovery plan.

Education specialists, charities, business leaders, unions and young people have come together in a bid to influence the government to reconsider recovery measures for children and young people, asking them to urgently boost investment.

While researchers estimate that £13.5bn is needed to help children recover from a year of disruption, isolation and anxiety, the Chancellor has committed to spend only one tenth of this amount.
