Mediation revolves around stories – and not just the ones that our clients bring into the room. As practitioners, we too have our stories about what mediation is, how it works and what it can achieve. Spending time on making these narratives more visible is a key part of taking responsibility for the forces that shape our practice.
The workshop is designed to see the work we do as a juxtaposition of overlapping stories that incorporate both our clients and ourselves. In this tangle of tales, achieving narrative clarity is not always easy, but it is essential if we want to craft stories that lead into more fulfilling futures.
