Bullying and Truancy for Children and Young People

When parents separate, it can be very stressful for the children. Often other children notice a change too in your behaviour. It might be hard to tell your parents what is going on because they have a lot on their plate already. You might be afraid they will go storming into school in a public way and make it worse. It is important to let your parents know what is happening. If that’s too hard at the moment, talk to another adult who may be able to help.

Outside organisations, like Family Lives or Bullying UK can be very useful. Childline also give advice on various concerns for children. You can ring them on 0800 1111.
