Over 150,000 children are affected by divorce and separation each year and around a third of all relationships end in divorce or separation. It's not easy for parents or children to go through the changes that breaking-up can bring.
NFM Services in partnership with Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association) are offering important workshops to inform and support all parents who live apart. The 4 hour workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss:
- what children are feeling and saying about separation and divorce in their lives,
- current research on the impact of separation and divorce on children,
- practical ideas to help children and parents adjust to the changes in their lives,
- how to communicate effectively, and
- how to deal with less than ideal situations.
