National Family Mediation is pleased to support a call by a TV production company to find fathers and adult sons and daughters who have recently reconnected after multiple years of limited, or no, contact.

It’s part of a new TV series with Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry. For these films Grayson is going to devise rites of passage ceremonies that will help British families celebrate genuine milestones in their lives.

The series, being made by Swan Films, will aim to reflect contemporary Britain and Swan would like to explore families in all shapes and sizes – with a particular focus on
  • the relationship between a father and adult son or daughter (over 18) who have recently reconnected, and on
  • couples who have divorced or separated on amicable terms.

The aim will be for a  positive look at both these elements of family life, but without hiding away from the complexities of such a relationship.

This is a unique opportunity to take part in a groundbreaking series.
